Child’s Choice is our new children's activity offer for parents and carers in Bolsover and South Derbyshire.
Your child could be eligible to try out a range of free, fun activities as we’re putting you in control with money to spend on getting your family moving more! 
Whether it’s joining a football club, taking up martial arts or just trying out different things to see what you like, your child can choose!
With Child’s Choice you’ve got a whole world of possibilities to pick from.
Your family could be eligible for Child’s Choice if:
- a parent or carer attends five sessions of the Healthy Families Growing Up programme
- you have a child aged between five and 12 years old
- your child is above a healthy weight or at risk of becoming above a healthy weight
Child’s Choice also extends to two further siblings if they are also aged between five and 12 years and are above a healthy weight or at risk of becoming above a healthy weight.
Please note that a maximum of three eligible children per household can take part.
Child's Choice is being run on our behalf by Bolsover District Council and South Derbyshire District Council.
Eligible families will be referred to district and borough leisure providers who will support your children to take part in fun, free activities in the local community.
